LITERALLY DISCONNECTED

FILM:
KISMAT KONNECTION
DIRECTOR:
AZIZ MIRZA
CAST:
SHAHID KAPUR, VIDYA BALAN

Luck, I believe is a thing that is something like a spark lighting up your cigarette when all your matches are over and the gas of your lighter is used up....But Aziz Mirza in Kismat Konnection has made luck look like an ATM machine, where Vidya Balan is the ATM card and the cash coming out is the success for our hero, Shahid Kapur...

Lets talk business directly, the movie has gone into some unbelievable sequences just to prove some unnecessary points and has tried to squeeze too much out of a rotten old lime...The plot very predictable, the screenplay pretty average and the acting, well, Vidya came into my favourites with Parineeta, but thereafter she went down rapidly and after KK shes out!! Shahid has done the same kind of act as he did in Jab We Met....

Shahid is a top student in his college, best student, best in sports, best in everything, but hey!! hes jobless after college....The director wants us to believe that he did not get a job just because his resume did not have a qualification called Kismat on it..!! He finally gets a chance to make his life but still he finds that he lacks luck. Vidya turns out to be his lucky charm. When Vidya is with him things are good, when shes not things suck, as I told before, just like an ATM card, Shahid used her for his own good....Now actually Shahid was cheating her.....he loved her and ya he's the good guy, but he cheated her for his good and for the bad of something like a Vridhashram in Canada with only Indian oldies.....with quick sequences across a Canada where only Hindi is spoken, this movie moves on and on....and then ends with a poor last scene....

Shahid recently said in a press talk that he doesn't care for the critics and makes it for the audiences....well you audiences are the best critics of such movies and I am sure most of you wont smile after this flick gets over....

Truly speaking guys, I wouldnt have watched the movie. I had been to the theatre to see DarkKnight....was fifteen minutes late for the last show....had to settle for a disconnected non entertaining, Kismat Konnection...Aziz, you can do much better!
